Emina's Home Day Care will be closed in observance of the following holiday's:
- New Year’s Day

- Independence Day

Sick Leave and Vacation
Emina will be given 5 paid sick days a year as well as 10 days of paid vacation. Emina's Home Day Care will be closed on all sick days and vacation days. Emina's Home Day Care will make every effort to provide at least 12 hours notice of a pending sick day and at least 1 month notice of a pending vacation day.
In the event Emina suffers from an extended illness, proper tuition adjustments/refunds will be arranged.

Ages Cared For
Emina's Home Day Care enrolls children 6 weeks and older.
Capacity
Emina's Home Day Care has a capacity of 12 children.
Enrollment Priority
Emina's Home Day Care has a first-come, first-served enrollment priority. However, priority is given to full-time enrollment over part-time enrollment. In the event that a child enrolled part-time would be displaced by a new child enrolled full-time, Emina's Home Day Care will give the parent/guardian of the child enrolled part-time the opportunity to increase enrollment to full-time. In such situations, Emina's Home Day Care will give the parent/guardian at least 30 days notice.
Tuition

Tuition payment is due on the first day of care of the month upon child drop-off. Payment can be made with a personal check, money order, or direct deposit can be arranged.

Meals
Infants - Parent/guardian will provide bottles daily. Bottles should be clearly labeled with the date prepared and the child’s first and last name. Parent/guardian provides baby food and instructions for feeding.
Table Food - Emina's Home Day Care will provide breakfast, 2 snacks, and lunch for children eating table food. Any dietary restrictions should be provided by parent/guardian.

Clothing
Infants and toddlers routinely go through multiple sets of clothes in a day. The parent/guardian should provide at least two sets of clothing and one set of footware to remain at Emina's Home Day Care. Any soiled clothing will be given to the parent/guardian during child pick-up. Parent/guardian should provide clean, replacement set of clothing the next day of care. All clothing should be labeled with the child's first and last name.
Diapers and Wipes
Parent/Guardian will provide all diapers and wipes for child. Diaper and wipe containers should be labeled with child's first and last name. Diapers and wipes should be provided weekly, but other arrangements can be made. If child needs specific cream or ointment applied during diaper changes, these must be provided along with application instructions and a completed authorization form. Creams and ointments must be clearly labeled with child's first and last name.
Allergies
If child suffers from any allergies, they must be identified on the enrollment form.
Child Illness
Children may become sick during the day or show signs or symptoms of illness prior to arrival. If your child shows symptoms of illness, the child should remain at home. Parent/guardian should notify Emina's Home Day Care as close to 7 am as possible on any day their child will be kept home due to sickness.
If child becomes ill while at Emina's Home Day Care, parent/guardian will be called and asked to pick up the child no more than one hour later. The enrollment agreement provides a record of names, addresses, and phone numbers of people authorized to pick up a sick child. Please make sure the information stays current.
In the event of serious accident or illness, an ambulance will be called. Parent/guardian will be notified immediately after the ambulance is called.
